My Practise | Painting
I have been creating many paintings lately and I have posted some here below. They are missing something though and I need to add more. I want to try more of a layering process adding some pattern on top focusing on form and composition. Even though initially these were all paintings themselves I have decided to move forward and use them as background and add to a few of them to see how that process goes. My theme is falling around natural processes and occurrences and I am fascinating in the beauty that lies with in the detail of the minor organic substances that we would see nearly everyday but don't take the time to appreciate the beauty. So for now here below are the paintings/backgrounds that I plan on developing. I have also tried painting on calico as I like the fragility of the material and how it can be easily manipulated. I haven't had much chance yet to manipulate the fabric and play around with form but that idea is definitely in the books! ...
